The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya has urged soldiers of 13 Brigade Nigerian Army to be disciplined which is the watchword of every soldier.
The COAS stated this at the official Commissioning and Handing Over of House Key to 13 Brigade Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) on Wednesday 07 September 2022 at Akim Army Barracks Calabar.

The project was executed by Nigerian Army Special Project Abuja under the supervision of Commander 13 Brigade Brigadier General EI Okoro.
In his address, The COAS who was ably represented by the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army Major General UT Musa said " In line with the COAS Vision of which is "A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria", he Urged soldiers to continue to be discipline.
Further, he urged soldiers to be dedicated to their work and never allow to be use by politicians for the forth coming Election.
The following are among the project commissioned, Remodeled 13 Brigade Quarter Guard, Officer's Transit Camp and 13 Brigade Soldiers' Club.

Earlier the Commander 13 Brigade thanked the COAS for finding his Brigade worthy to benefit the aforementioned projects.
Present at the event were; Principal Staff officers of 82 Division, 13 Brigade Chief of Staff, Staff officers of 13 Brigade, Officers, Soldiers, Members of Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association and Nigerian Army Soldiers Wives Association.
