The Personal Staff of the Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi, rtd have taken him by surprise with assorted gifts to commemorate his three years in office.
General Magashi who was in awe for the beautiful three years anniversary Cake and the designer Card, applauded the kind gestures of both the Military Aides and the Civilian appointees led by the Special Adviser Technical, Major General Ahmed Tijani Jibrin rtd.

The Defence Minister thanked the Commander- in- Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari for considering him worthy of the appointment three years ago.
He said the unwavering support of President Buhari to him and the Military are accountable for the successes attained so far in the defence of the National territorial integrity and the pursuit of the mandate of the Ministry of Defence .
While pledging unabated pursuit of National Defence imperatives, he tasked both the Military and Civilian Personal Staff to remain nationalistic and patriotic in the discharge of their assigned duty for the development of the Nation.
The Team Leader and spokesperson of the Personal Staff Maj Gen AT Jibrin took the Minister through the wordings inscripted on the designer card describing his three years tenure as a watershed in the anals of the Ministry.
The highpoint of the brief ceremony was the cutting of the cake by the humble and humane Minister who advised the personal Staff to continue on the trajectory of robust synergy for improved service delivery to the nation.
