Osinbajo Now on Crutches, Receiving Physiotherapy Treatment - Hospital

The Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja management has said, following a successful operation to repair a fracture of his right femur (thigh bone) on Saturday, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN,  is now receiving physiotherapy and mobilising quite well on crutches.

In a statement signed by Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Medical Director,Dr Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi said  Professor Yemi Osinbajo continues to make good progress at the hospital. 

Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi said, the aim of this stage of treatment is to reduce weight-bearing on his right leg while promoting healing and rehabilitation towards his usual active state.

All aspects of the Vice President’s post-operative care have proceeded satisfactorily so far.

His multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and allied health practitioners are extremely pleased with his progress.
