Claim:
There were reports that ISWAP/Boko Haram ISWAP claimed that an attacktook place near the town of Gamborun Ngala on Friday 24 June 2022 was carried out by the terrorists group.
Verdict:
There was no attack. At about 0145 hour, troops sighted move of about 5 persons close to Arabic Village. Based on actionable intelligence, Patrol was immediately directed to the spot. No encounter with them.
Reliably informed a counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst Zagazola Makama that Boko Haram from Gazuwa town, a popular terrorists Headquarters of JAS are relocating to Yuwe, located Auwulari and Mairamiri since the night of Friday
This was as a result of massive Operation by Operation Hadin Kai OPHK which led to the neutralisation of Seventy (70) ISWAP Terrorists recently.
