According to Maj. Gen Khalifa, Force Commander, between January and May 2022, the terrorists attacked the town about 50 times, both with Motar bombs and direct confrontations.
A Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst, Zagazola Makama said, the resilient troops have consistently repelled most of the attacks.
The ISWAP occupied camps in Garere,Yau,Yauma Wango, Jabullam, Larki 1&2, Ngama, Fawwa, Bellowa, Arge and Allijallamri, Dan Katsina, maariya L,Lagos Mai yashi, kangar, Gero, Tawaye, Ngalja,Tunbus Bagaruwa, Ngurliya and Tunbu mari but we're completely cleared by the MNJTF Troops.
