Senator Alimikhena Dismisses Claimd of His Participation in a Purported APC Primary

0 Admin

The Senator representing Edo North Senator Francis Alimikhena has distanced himself from the viral APC letterhead in circulation and the misleading publications in National Newspapers of his purported defeat and participation in the Primary election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in which five (5) fictitious scores were allocated to him by a Political Party he has left to smear his image.

He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the All Progressive Congress to immediately purge themselves of such fictitious statements and withdraw his name from the viral score sheet or face legal action for their connivance and blackmailing. Electoral officers who  Signed such publications should also brace up for the consequences of their actions.

He vowed to take legal action against all platforms that were compromised to blackmail his image he was defeated in a Primary election he didn't participate.

"I couldn't have been defeated by an APC aspirant when I had already left the party and was no longer their member."

He described the action of the three actors - the Media, the All Progressive Congress, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as unfortunate.

The Edo North Senator who spoke in a disclaimer issued by his media Aide Benjamin Atu said "it is ridiculous to see a reputable Print media like the Guardian Newspaper and others spreading misleading information about Adams Oshiomhole defeating the incumbent  Senator Francis Alimikhena. Oshiomhole was unopposed and Senator Francis Alimikhena had already left the All Progressive Congress (APC) days before the election took place. Relevant agencies were notified about his defection. The same media that ought to educate and inform has been cloned and bought over to mislead the public.

"This is to notify the   media houses who have offered their platform as the pulpit for political propaganda to immediately reverse their misleading publication or face legal action as Senator Francis Alimikhena's defection from APC was given wide Publicity  before the day of the said Primary election."

Oshiomhole is afraid and having sleepless nights over the defection of Senator Francis Alimikhena hence he is seeking other means to entangle him in his already sinking ship.

The statement accused both the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the All Progressive Congress (APC) of occupying a strange Universe that has turned them into agents of Propaganda which deliberately and strategically spun and transmit lies.

"We dare both the media Houses, INEC, and the All Progressive Congress (APC)  to produce the video or publish the photo evidence where Senator Francis Alimikhena participated in the said Primary election as well as his attendance signature. Failure to provide such evidence or retracting the misleading publication will lead to defamatory charges of such reckless allegations and blackmailing.

“Truth and accuracy were wantonly and recklessly sacrificed on the altar of personal aggrandizement in their desperation to make financial gains. Oshiomhole was unopposed and couldn't have defeated empty air in his shadow primary."

The Statement maintained that the media must not allow themselves to be used as pulpits by Political merchants who lie effortlessly in their desperation to fine-tune propaganda and clone them to achieve unrealistic conclusions.

“Unless a man is honest we have no right to keep him in public life, it matters not how brilliant and great his capacity" Senator Alimikhena warned.
