The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Oladayo Amao are currently in Maiduguri to celebrate Eid el Fitr with troops of Operation Hadin Kai.
Gen Yahaya who arrived with Air Marshal Oladayo Amao and some principal staff officers enjoined troops to continue to decimate the insurgents, and deny them freedom of action. This he said, will provide a safe environment and opportunity for other elements of national power to play their statutory roles in the fight against terrorism and insurgency in the theatre.
