Troops continue to record commendable success in the war against the terrorists as they wreaked havoc on a team of high profiled ISWAP delegates as they converged ostensibly to plan for another attack.
The intense heat of Saturday’s onslaught which occurred around 2pm was just as fatal as it occurred during the meeting of ISWAP delegates with their Amir, Sani Shuwaram in Borno state.
The ISWAP delegation present at the meeting includes The Amir of ISWAP, Sani Shuwaram, Chief Imam Goni Mustapha, Muhammed Ali Kwalarem, and Mohammed Bello.
Present also were Mohammed Maina, Mallam Baana, Mallam Yusuf, Muhammad Boko and Ibn-Umar Alkali.
Others include Commander Rujalul Amne, Bakura Gana, Mallam Musa Amir Jaish, Mahd Maluma, Abu-Ubaida, Abu-Hamza and Abu-Nura Umarun Leni.
Several ISWAP members were said to have been neutralized during the military bombardment.
As of the time of this report, ground assessment is currently ongoing to ascertain the figure of those killed in the strike.
