An unconfirmed report says about 21 military recruits died in an accident in Jigawa State.
The fatal incident reportedly happened after their vehicle submerged into water along the Gwaram/Basirka Road in Jigawa State.
The source also disclosed that Police spokesman in the State, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident.
He said the recruits were en route to Gombe State when the incident happened.
The Army Spokesperson, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu could not be reached as at the time of filing this report.
