The Organisers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show appears to have complied with Federal Government’s Twitter ban policy.
Recall how the Federal Government suspended the operations of Twitter in Nigeria, following accusations that the American microblogging site undermines Nigeria's national existence on June 4.
However, during the opening show on Saturday night monitored by SpyeTV, the host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu could be seen reading comments from the official Facebook page of the reality show instead of Twitter which has been the regular style over the years.
Although many Nigerians using the Virtual Private Network(VPN) application bypass the federal government restriction and trended various BBN related hashtags, checks by SpyeTV reveals that the official twitter handle of the reality show was last updated on June 3.
