Veteran Yoruba actor popularly known as Pastor Ajidara is down with kidney ailment. The son of the veteran Damilare made this known during a phone call session.
The actor’s son said his father’s ailment started in 2013 after he had an accident which eventually affected his kidney. He said though they were told the accident affected his kidney, it did not start manifesting until 2015 and the family has been managing his health until now.

The actor who is known for his role as a pastor in hit movie Abela Pupa produced by Ebun Oloyede aka Olaiya Igwe has been battling with the ailment now for some years. Pastor Ajidara has been quietly managing his state of health which had left his legs and other parts of his body swollen.
Ajidara is the current governor of the association of Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ogun state. He retired as a court registrar in Ogun state in 2015. As a judiciary worker he was a prominent member of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) where he rose to become the chairman of the Ogun state arm of JUSUN until his retirement in 2015.
