The ruling on the disqualification of President Muhammadu
Buhari’s certificate was made on Thursday, June 16.
The case against President Buhari regarding his WAEC
certificate, has been adjourned indefinitely.
At his ruling today, Justice Ademola Adeniyi said the
matter has been adjourned sine die follow the notice of
appeal filed by the president.
The president had yesterday, June 15, appealed against
Adeniyi’s May 26 ruling dismissing his preliminary
objection in a suit by an Abuja base lawyer, Nnamdi
Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe.
The lawyer had contested that Buhari was not qualified to
run for presidency. He also said alleged that as claimed,
the president did not sit for the Cambridge West African
School Certificate WASC) in 1961.
