This is not the best of times
for Nollywood actress, Chika Ike as she is mourning the death of her mother.
On Monday, April 18, Nollywood actress Chika Ike is now an orphan, she loses
mother to an undisclosed illness.
The bereaved actress
immediately took to her Instagram page to announce the demise of her mom.
She posted a picture of her
with the caption: “RIP Mum. Saying I am going to miss you is an understatement,
I can’t still believe you are gone , I sit here wondering if I’m in a dream and
waiting for someone to pinch me . You thought me how to be strong, giving,
loyal, compassionate and driven. You told me that there is nothing impossible
to do. You made me the woman I am today. I am most grateful to you. I will miss
you greatly. I know you are watching over me and you will always live on. Love
you mum.”
Chika Ike who is enjoying the fame her career is
bringing as she enjoys several first class trips to Dubai, when going on a
shopping spree, several Yacht cruise among other investments. Few weeks back,
Chika’s manager Serah Donald congratulated the Nollywood star on her real
estate business venture.
