David Mark celebrates 68th birthday in Otukpo
David Mark, the former Senate president on Friday, April 8 celebrated his 68th birthday in his Otukpo mansion in honour of indigens of Agatu local government area who have been displaced in their own state. Senator Mark who used the event to thank God said he had forgiven all those who offended him. He expressed displeasure over the persistent attacks on Agatu and other communities by Fulani herdsmen.

“Each time I think about the Agatu crisis and how people have become internally displaced persons in their own land, I feel pained. For this reason I wouldn’t celebrate this year’s birthday as expected. “We would rather use the opportunity to visit the IDP camps in Ugbokpo and Aila Agatu,” Mark said. He promised to devote the rest of his life to the service of God and humanity, even as he advocated a society where people could move freely and harmoniously go about their businesses.
