Lecturer kidnapped in Delta, abductors demand N100million ransom

A senior lecturer of the Delta State-owned polytechnic in Ogwashi-Uku in Delta state, Mr Tobi Benson, was kidnapped by a four-man armed gang at his home along Assemblies of God Church street, off Isah road, Ogwashi-Uku, on Monday September 28th. Eyewitnesses say the middle aged man was dragged out of his car at gun point after he packed his car in his garage and was moved into another waiting vehicle. The kidnappers have contacted his wife and are demanding a N100 million ransom. Confirming the kidnap, the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu said the police was doing everything possible to ensure the lecturer is freed.
