Three sisters have beaten record to give birth to three
babies on the same day.
And the excitement didn’t end there as their fourth sister
had her own baby two days after theirs.
First-time mum Mairead Fitzpatrick revealed it was a triple
celebration for her family as she and her sisters Joeline
Godfrey and Bernie Ward all welcomed their newborns within
hours of each other.
Mairead gave birth to her first baby, little Thomas Og, at
3.25am on Tuesday.
Joeline was next up with her second child Sorcha who was
born by C-section just hours later at 11am.
And Bernie welcomed hers at 8.25pm on Tuesday.
While speaking about the mind-blowing events Mairead
said: “It was just so funny the way it happened really.
“It was my first, Joeline’s second and Bernie’s third and it’ll
be Christina’s fourth.
“There’s four girls, five altogether in the house, and four
sisters all expecting. There’s one brother.
“I was due on August 28, Joeline was sectioned on Tuesday
and Bernie was due today. But she had her little boy at
8.30pm on Tuesday night.
“Christina is still waiting for her little one as she was due on
Sunday.”
