Many celebrities have been speaking out about the tragic shooting in Charleston, in which a man confessed to killing nine people to start a "race war."

During a concert performance Saturday night, Kanye West said a few words the massacre — in a freestyle rap about racism in America.

The All Day rapper performed at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash in Atlanta, and broke down into a freestyle with a profound message.

The emotional rap included the following lyrics:

"See that's the magic of racism, it works on itself. We hate each other, screw each other, kill each other. When we can't kill nobody else. See that's the magic of lack of resources, it works on itself. Five-hundred n—as getting pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-popped, and North [sic] Carolina didn't help. See that's the magic of racism, it works on itself."
