Seven RCCG Members Die in A Ghastly Car Accident While returning From Redemption Camp: Adeboye VIsits Ondo to Commiserates with Bereaved families (DETAILS)

About Seven members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ondo town was on Saturday, 2nd May 2015 involved in a ghastly motor Accident while returning from the monthly Holy Ghost Congress Programme of the Church, held at the Redemption camp in Lagos State.
Report has it that, 8 of them who are inside their cars ran into a packed trailer which developed a little fault over the night on Lagos - Ore road.
Two of the victim are in coma at the Trauma Centre, Odosida Ondo town while others died.
Two staffs of the federal COllege of EDucation in Ondo, Adeyemi College of Education who are husband and wife were involved in the accident and they lost their lives.
Meanwhile, The General overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye has visited ONdo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government of the State, to condole with the families of seven members of the church who lost their lives.
Pastor Adeboye who arrived in the ancient community at about 9:45am on TUesday, in black native attire, in an helicopter with Registration number 5N-BQY, was accompanied by other leaders of the church, including the provincial Pastor in charge of Ondo Province, Pastor Adepoju Majekobaje.
Pastors Adeboye and his wife went straight to the ondo state Trauma center in Ondo town, where he was received by the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko.
At the Ondo Trauma Center, Pastor Adeboye, visited two other victims who survived the accident, that are currently receiving treatment at the hospital and prayed for their quick recovery.
Other areas in the community visited by the General Overseer of the RCCG wer, Ayeyemi, Iyemaja, Okuudu, Sabo as well as Saka Famuditimi streets.
In separate condolence messages to the families of the accident victims, the religious leaders lamented the situation, which he described as another monument loss not only to their families and relatives, but to the church of God in general.
Adeboye, while praying for the repose of their souls, described death as inevitable and a debt which all mortals must pay.
He however admonished them not to be too sad about the unfortunate incident, but stressed the need to be diligent and live a fulfilled life while on earth.
The G.O later came back to the Oba Adesanoye Covoc Centre Ondo town, where he was welcomed by large members  of the church who have been waiting for him.
He later prayed against the occurrence of such unfortunate incident in Ondo town and the state in general.
We pray that May their gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
