National Secretary of the Labour Party (LP),
Barrister Olukayode Ajulo has called for the immediate
arrest and prosecution of the chairman of the Independent
National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega,
Daily Independent reports.
Ajulo said Jega should be blamed for going ahead with the
use of the card reader despite stiff opposition from many
concerned stakeholders in the polity on the problem that
may arose from the use of the cards.

He stated that Jega should have ditched the use of card
reader since it was not used during the Ekiti and Osun
governorship elections in 2014 and save the nation the
embarrassment it has caused.
