The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari has been flown out of the country to the United Kingdom for medical check-up aboard a British Airways plane. It was gathered from a reliable source that he travelled out this morning around 9 am. Details around his health have remained sketchy, but it is rumoured he has gone to treata nagging health condition – prostate cancer. Although, his party claim, he travelled on a short working trip, where he's expected to hold meeting with key members of the British political establishment and interact with some global institutions with stakeholder interest in the affairs of Nigeria and hopefully give a talk at the prestigious foreign policy hub, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatam House in London.
