Boko Haram Militants Display Control Of Captured Towns In Northeastern Nigeria
A full video obtained by SaharaReporters shows Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau preaching to locals in captured towns in northeast Nigeria. Though it's unclear which townships were taken over in the video, the deadly militant sect apparently has firm control over major towns in the Yobe, Adamawa and Borno states. The video also shows the brazen display of military weapons that the sect seized from Nigerian troops. A Nigerian soldier is also seen fighting for his life in a hand combat with Boko Haram militants that eventually led to his death at the hands of the sect.
