IBB Returns, Thanks Nigerians, Says I’ll Speak On Politics Soon

Barely 2 months after former Military President, Ibrahim Babamasi Babangida(IBB) travelled abroad for medical treatment, he returned on Saturday from Germany, looking hale and hearty. IBB, who arrived Minna Airport at around 2:50pm, did not grant any interview as newsmen were barred from the arrival lounge of the airport.But when journalists visited his Minna home, the former military leader said he was hale and hearty.In his words, “I feel better. I want to use this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for the goodwill gestures they expressed during my absence. I have been deeply touched by their love, their affection and their prayers. I want to use this medium to thank each and every one of them”.
