The Save Group Foundation, is the first ever civil right and activist group comprising of largely movie practitioners founded with the sole aim of advocating for change and attitude towards all institutions, sectors, individuals, ideas and concept of national interest that have been left to decay, nosedive or ill maintained.
We resolved from our first meeting at HOME INN HOTEL, Abule Egba to kick start our campaign with the project #SAVENIGERIAMOVIEINDUSTRY
The Team realised the need to start from their own backyard as everybody knows the movie industry is the PRO for this country and it now going through so many difficulties and the people all over the world are feeling it. We have again realised that the problems tarries maybe because there is LACK OF POLITICAL WILL or that the practitioners are too silent with the problems or basically are not taking the right steps to address the situation.
The National Central Working Council which comprises of the National Executives and State/Int’l co-ordinators will meet very shortly to decide on vanguards who will support on the#SAVENIGERIAMOVIEINDUSTRY. A vanguard could be an artist or any other stakeholder from the public. The aftermath of their deliberation and public research is to draw out a proposed BILL to appropiate quarters in the State and National Assemblies.

Team Save Group will be needing the support of all existing and active movie associations in Nigeria. We will rely on public and members donations to carry out this effort as this project. We hope to save the movie industry from its perpetual life support and intensive care unit hale and hearty.
