2 boarding school students died over the weekend by lightning while another was seriously injured.
According to the Principal of the undisclosed boarding school, Raymond Gofut, the students were struck by thunder while they were returning to their hostel late in the night following a heavy rainfall on Saturday.
The injured student is currently being treated at an undisclosed hospital in the town while the bodies of the deceased were later deposited in a mortuary.
The incident happened in Shendam local government area of Plateau state.
