The Ondo state House of Assembly has

yuletide break, the Deputy Speaker, Hon Dare Emiola, who presided over
the sitting, said the house took the decision at the last parliamentary
siting following the lawmaker’s withdrawal of suit against the House as
well as a letter of apology she wrote to the House.
In the meantime, the 2014 Budget also
passed through the first reading on the floor of the House after a
motion in that regard by the Majority Leader, Hon Ifedayo Akinsoyinu
which was seconded by Hon Akindele Adeniyi from Akure North Local
Government.
The Deputy Speaker also noted that the budget would enter its second
reading stage next week when serious deliberations would be made on the
budget.
The sitting was attended by majority of the House members.
