An Accra Circuit Court has ordered the arrest of Hammat Montia, the Winner of 2006 Miss Malaika Beauty Pageant for failing to appear before it.
Ms Montia, who is also a businesswoman has been charged with stealing. She has been accused of stealing an unregistered Toyota Highlander 2008 model belonging to one Versa Keskinen, a Finnish national.
When the matter was called Ms Montia was not in court. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) C. K Abadamlora prayed the court for a bench warrant to arrest Ms Montia.
