The programme started with an interdemoninational service where the Osemawe and his subjects glorify God for a stable reign of peace, a fulfilled life At 60 and joy in their kingdom.
Activities marking the 7th Year on the Throne of his Fore-Fathers and His 60th birthday anniversary of the 44th Osemawe and the third from the Jilo Ruling House, Oba (Dr) Victor Adesinmbo Adenrele Ademefun Kiladejo, a successful medical practitioner in the ancient town as started as the people rejoice with their paramount ruler.
The celebration started on Wednesday, November 6 with an Interdenominational service involving the Muslim community and the Christians. They converged on the palace to open the celebration with prayer.Kiladejo, in company with the traditional high chiefs, commended the indegenes for their love, affection and loyalty to the Osemawe traditional institution.
He also prayed for continued peace and unity in the town and the state, especially now that one of his prominent subjects, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, is the incumbent governor of the sunshine state.
The service attended by the celebrant, Oba Kiladejo himself and some prominent Chiefs in the town.
The chairman of the Planning Committee of the 60th anniversary And 7th Installation celebration, Chief Noah Fadayomi had told Pyemedia that prominent Nigerians including Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Chief Sunday Adegeye a.k.a King Sunny Ade; Ondo state Commissioners, David Mark, Popular Actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and many other distinguished sons and daughters of the kingdom would be honoured by the Osemawe and the people of Ondo kingdom.
Recalling the peace and tranquility that had prevailed in the kingdom since 2006 when Oba Kiladejo was crowned, Fadayomi attributed it to the kings’ high level of patience and managerial skills, which came from his experience in medical practice long before he ascended the throne.
