Jossy Lad, the ex-chairman of the Shootings Stars football club and the former coach of the Super Falcons has died.
Popularly called Jossy Lad, Mr Joseph Ladipo passed away after a long-time battle with heart disease and prostate cancer in Ibadan on May 9th , 2013.
Before his death on Thursday, seriously ill Jossy Lad was placed on emergency life support machine at UCH (University College Hospital in Ibadan).
He was later discharged after doctors certified him ok to go home.
Few hours later, Jossy Lad’s health got worse. He was immediately rushed back to the UCH.
He died few hours after.
The former captain of Ibadan-based Shooting Stars FC has now joined the growing list of dead shooting stars professional.
According to his daughter Bimbo Olalere, he passed away at the age of 72 yesterday.
May God grant his family the fortitude to bear his loss.
