I MADE IT WITHOUT MY FATHER- gtdaguitarman

That faithful day, when I got back from school and found out that Dads not at home yet, I asked Mum, were he was, but she told me he has travelled, while the truth of the matter is that Dad as abandoned us. Mum had to work harder than she used to, which made it difficult for me to have “that” relationship her as she would leave home every day as early as 6:30am and gets home as late as 9pm, which gives me the time to do whatever I want, but instead of spending my time and energy doing the wrong things, I decided to engage in more productive vocation. “I fell in love with music”.
He, once the black sheep of the family, cos mum once strongly disagreed with his involvement in music, she used to think its for irresponsible pips now receives blessings from mum before each show and every night. GT the guitarman revealed this on a Radio show in Akure called Artiste Naija Live with Olayemi Esan.
He further explained in detail what inspired him to compose his new singles ‘Arise Africa’ and ‘Over again’. He said, “Arise Africa was composed to urge African to stop blaming the government for our shortcomings.
We elect leaders. According to him, there’s a sleeping giant within each and every one of us that needs to be woken. ''You and i make up Africa and without us, Africa is nothing but a land mass. This is a call to all proud Africans arise comrades and lets take this great continent to the promise land'' he said.
The second single 'Over again' is dedicated to gt the guitarman's fans.
